The basics

Boutique rock festival with a green heart - when it comes to both the scenery and the eco-conscious philosophy.

The festival

Size is no barrier to word-of-mouth success, as the small but perfectly formed 2000 Trees shows. Set in the rolling Cotswold hills, it’s a magnet for fans of alternative guitar music with a neat sideline in locally sourced food and craft beer.

With big names and up-and-comers from rock and indie making up most of the lineup, Trees is a musicians' festival as much as a festival for music fans, and the 2014 lineup didn't disappoint.

Our tip

Once the acts finish, the party continues but the noise doesn’t; silent discos run from 11pm to 3am.
