The basics

Celebrate the Labor Day Weekend on your own Manhattan island.

The festival

Now in its seventh year, Electric Zoo is New York's original electronic music festival, and it also happens to be one of the best. The lineup is overwhelming - with over 122 acts announced in 2014. Covering a multitude of electronic sub-genres including Dance, House, Techno, Trance, Dubstep, Electro, Trap, and Indie - Electric Zoo will not disappoint. David Guetta, Nicky Romera, Chase & Status, Nervo, Sub Focus, Alesso, and Fedde Le Grand are just some of the big names that were on the bill in 2014.

The festival takes place in the 24 acre Randall's Island Park, in the centre of Manhattan, located along the East River. With five stages including two main and one dedicated specifically to underground house and techno. Situated in the cosmopolitian city of New York you can also expect to be treated to endless amounts of global street food.

Take a towel, take a bikini, cover yourself in zoo paint - the park is yours for the weekend. What better way to end the summer than a massive blowout in New York.

Our tip

Make sure you head to the Vinyl Only Stage and listen to house and techno the way it was meant to be heard
