The basics
The UK’s only reggae festival, One Love has some seriously musical roots.
The festival
Taking its name from Bob Marley’s seminal 1978 concert of the same name, One Love has been spreading good vibes since 2008. From the hearts and souls of some of the biggest lovers of reggae and dub music, comes this two-day festival set on a farm that’s dedicated to celebrating and preserving the music that makes people smile.
Keeping it chilled and laid back in 2014 were the biggest reggae and dub stars, from The Wailing Souls, Dub Colossus and Sir John Holt and more soundsystems than you could possibly shake your booty to in one weekend. '70s legends the Saxon Sound System had their own marquee, Gorgon Sound System presented Bunny Lee, the man behind many Jamaican classic sounds, while there was also a ‘battle of the dub-plates’ with four soundsystems going head to head. Heavy, man!
