The winner will need to confirm acceptance within 7 days of being notified. If the winner does not confirm acceptance within this timeframe, the promoter has the right to pick another winner.

No purchase necessary. All data collected will be pooled for the prize draw. Incomplete entries will not be included. It is the entrants' responsibility to complete the entry form in full. The promoter is not responsible for any technical issues (or other) which impede an entrants' entry being submitted correctly and/or in full. The promoter is not responsible for any changes in e-mail, mailing address and /or telephone numbers provided at time of entering the prize draw. The competition is also being co-hosted at www.escapism.com/competition. All entries from both sites will be collated and one final winner drawn.

Travel dates must be between May and November 2017. The prize is available until November 2017, subject to availability and must be taken in full by this date.

Once a booking has been made and confirmation provided to the prize winner, no further changes to the booking are allowed. No upgrades allowed. The promoter reserves the right to provide an alternative prize of similar value should the specified prize become unavailable for any reason. The prize cannot be exchanged for a cash alternative. The prize is non-transferable.

The Berghaus £500 voucher must also be used in full by September 2017.

The prize winner, and their travelling companion, must travel together (on both outbound / inbound flights). Both must be over 18 years of age. Both must hold a passport valid for 6 months from date of return, and be eligible for a visa for travel to Costa Rica. Travel insurance is NOT included in the prize, and prize winners must obtain travel insurance for their trip, pre-departure. It is strongly advised that you take out travel insurance for the relevant period.

The Promotor is Four Communications on behalf of Instituto Costarricense de Turismo. The Promoter nor any other person or party associated with this promotion shall be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss or damage) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with either participation in this promotion or with any prizes offered.

The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the terms of this prize and without notice in the unlikely event of a major catastrophe, war, earthquake or any actual, anticipated or alleged breach of any applicable law or regulation or any similar event or if circumstances arise outside of its control.

The organizer reserves the right to cancel this competition, or to change any condition of this competition, without notice.

The prize promoter and prize partners do not take any responsibility for any liabilities, nor do they take any responsibility for any disappointment, injury or loss incurred by the prize winner from accepting the prize or participating in the promotion.

Those entering after the competition close date will not be counted. The winner will be selected randomly. Attempts will be made to notify the winner by the email provided at the time of entry. If the promoter, having used reasonable efforts, is unable to contact the winner, then the prize is forfeited and further draw(s) will be conducted.

The winner may be required to take part in reasonable publicity as specified by the Promoter.

The Promoter cannot be held liable for IT system failures or delays or loss of entries.
