The basics
Raving. Outdoors. On beaches.
The festival
Two festivals, two lineups, two islands, fuck loads of DJs. Good things come in twos. Or in loads. Whichever.
This year's addition of Barrakud takes place across thirteen days in July and August on the islands of Corfu in Greece and Pag in Croatia. Nice.
Along with a banging lineup, Corfu includes venues The Cave, The Panoramic Pool, Sunset Beach, Long Beach and just to top it all off Club Vision. With Pag you've got Papaya, Kalypso, the Boat Party and Aquarius. It's like a fruity, watery, star signey rave-fest. Get your sunglasses, get a flight. Get your Greco-Croatian dictionary, get raving!
Our tip
Pag is one of the most popular islands in Croatia but there's plenty of 'em to feast your eyes on. If you have a bit of time, try hopping around a bit. Like a kangaroo. Or Thumper from Bambi.

Getting there
How do I get there?
By ait: Zadar: about 60 km (1 hour and 20 minutes)
Split: about 190 km (2 hours and 30 minutes)
Zagreb: about 300 km (3 hours and 30 minutes)
By boat: Festivelers can opt for the Barrakud boat from the port of Ancona. It's a party boat, but it does cost €120, so there are other options from Zadar and Split. Depends how much you want to party, my friend.
By bus: There are frequent buses from the major Croatian cities though we'd also recommend the services from Italy if you fancy extending your holiday.
