The basics
Set in North Yorkshire, Galtres Festival combines the world's best music, food and drink with unique family activities to provide an action packed weekend.
The festival
Including a fairly nostalgic lineup in 2014, headlined by The Levellers, Tricky and The Human League, multiple stages of music ensured there was something for everyone, whether it’s folk music, hard rock or kicking back to some swing.
Galtres puts as much focus on its selection of food as it does with the music. As one of the most ideal festivals for a proper foodie, you can get a taste of Spanish street food, Neapolitan pizza or just some local fish and chips. Plus, if you’re like most and enjoy a pint or ten at festivals, then the beer tent’s impressive selection of local ales and ciders will be perfect for you.
In the brilliant location of Duncombe Park, the additional attractions including birds of prey displays, magic shows and vintage dodgems, Galtres Festival doesn’t give a you a moment's rest.
