The festival
Fed up of feeling squashed when you want to let loose to your dance music? You'll like Listen Out, then. Listen Out hosts a day of dance music across four Australian cities – Perth, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
They'll play host to some of the best names in dance, and with no timetable clashes you'll be able to see them all. 2014's lineup boasted Flume, Chet Faker, ZHU and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs.
Our tip
As the festival is held in the city, it also means there's the chance to explore the metropolitan area once the sounds are over – win-win.

How do I get there?
The festival is located The Avenues and Expo Place at Brisbane Showgrounds. The entrance is located on Gregory Terrace.
Bowen Hills and Fortitude Valley railway stations are less than a ten minute walk from Brisbane Showgrounds.
The 301, 320, 321, and 393 buses stop nearest the Showgrounds.
