The basics
Rock, pop, and indie music from around the globe collide in St Louis
The festival
Missouri draws music fans down to St Louis' Forest Park for a weekend festival with big names from both the US and across the pond. If you're an indie rock fan, you'll enjoy this one – but there's also sounds for those rock 'n' pop fans to enjoy, too. Basically, there's lots of dancing in a Midwest leafy setting.
When all that dancing makes you hungry, head over to the aptly titled Nosh Pit: here you'll find everything from classic beignets (kind of like a Southern doughnut) to thai food and burgers to scoff. Plus, check out the Market Square to get your hands on some festival goodies to wear home, and you'll feel good supporting local businesseses, too.
Our tip
Don't forget to explore the rest of the park – the St Louis Zoo is worth a visit.
