The basics
An electro and dance fest in the south of France
The festival
Do you remember that film Mars Attacks? With Jack Nicholson and more or less every other actor who was popular in the '90s? Well, this has nothing to do with that, although Marsatac sounds a bit similar. The festival takes place in Marseille (it's moved around a few times) and promises to be a good one for dance heads, electro heads, but not radio heads, whatever that may mean.
A small festival just a short distance from the sea, it's perfect for those suffering from a bit of post-summer blues. Did you know that Zinedine Zidane is from Marseille? Could be a good one for him. He loves a bit of head-banging.
Our tip
Have a look at the Marsatac shop and all the lovely t-shirts and bags. Some of them are pretty swish.
