The basics
All your favourite acts from the decade of mullets and shoulder pads are back, admittedly looking slightly worse for wear.
The festival
The only festival dedicated entirely to the much-loved (and equally despised) music scene of the 1980s. The festival is held across three locations, in Cheshire, Henley-on-Thames and Perth in Scotland. With a lineup of 1980s old timers, it is a neon fun-filled weekend for all the family – even if the kids have never heard of half the lineup.
In typically tacky 1980s fashion there is a silent disco, a karaoke bar (bring your ear plugs), a roller disco and an inflatable church, where you can get hitched in your very own 'Big Love' wedding ceremony. They'll even provide the dress and guests, if you're covered in mud and have forgotten your friends.
Our tip
Buy a 'When Nature Calls' wristband which gets you access to posh loos that get washed after every use, as well as mirrors, warm water, complete with a cafe and chill out zone.
