The basics
A celebration of 1950's blues and roots rock n' roll
The festival
Camber's Pontins Holiday Centre brings you Rhythm Riot, an alliterative way of spending three great days (and nights) in November. The focus of the festival is on blues and roots rock and roll music, with top acts, but there is much more to Rhythm Riot.
Delights include daytime entertainment, a motorbike expo, a hair and beauty parlour (haircuts at festivals taste better), a flea market and one of the highlights of the weekend, a Sunday afternoon cruise across the marches in a classic '50s car.
A feel good festival with tons of activities to enjoy, R&R (it isn't usually shortened to that because it would be confusing) is a great way to learn how to relax, have fun and jive your behind off.
Our tip
If you ever find yourself in a real riot, play dead and you won't get hurt. Wait… is that what you do when you see a bear?
