X-Massacre is a party for people who enjoy losing their marbles exclusively to music genres with hard in the title. Hardcore, hardstyle, hardtechno, hardhat, hard hard hard.
The festival
We think it's fair to say that this music is not everybody's cup of tea, but there are plenty of X-Massacrers that go harder than a very hard thing and don't go home till 10am. Because that's when the party finishes.
There is certainly an appetite for hardstyle music in the Czech Republic, with the X-Massacre party increasing in size every year since 2003, and the line-ups pulling in DJs from around the world who have never played the Czech Republic before. It happens at the cavernous EXPO Fair Ground in Prague, with three separate stages representing for different genres.
So go on then, if you think you're hard enough!
Our tip
Maybe take some energy drinks, or bananas or something, because like we mentioned, the party goes on til 10am.

The event is held at Výstaviště EXPO Praha Holešovice, a large events complex in Prague.
