The festival
On the edge of the Ohio river, with the Louisville skyline as its backdrop, Forecastle has an enviable natural palette to work with, and the end result has music fans coming back in droves year after year.
Though the headliners are A-list and the setting’s world class, Forecastle sets itself apart by letting a healthy streak of Kentucky show through in everything at the festival – by championing local acts, showcasing food and drink from the bluegrass state (including bourbon, you’ll be glad to hear) and promoting local artists.

How do I get there?
Cycling: There will be a Bike Valet service free of charge to all travelers who choose to ride instead of drive.
Using Public Transportation: Forecastle is located in the middle of Louisville’s transit network, and is particularly well-served by TARC routes 31, 15, 43, 55, 17, 2, 1, 4, 6 and 18.
Designated Driver Service: Another great option is City Scoot - the first fully insured designated driver service in the United States. Operating in and around downtown, City Scoot is a new and unique way to travel around Louisville.
Flying: Louisville International Airport is a 12 minute car ride away from the festival location.
