The festival
Held at the luxe MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, this two-night festival has one of the biggest and best musical lineups on offer, with pop heavyweights such as Coldplay, One Direction, Taylor Swift and Bastille performing in 2014. With artists from every genre – expect pop and rock all the way through to dance and hip hop – this Las Vegas celebration of radio's finest is bound to put a smile on every festival baby's face.
Since the festival started back in 2011, the event has become known for its host of surprise acts that are revealed live on the night. Unfortunately, tickets almost always sell out, but in 2013 the festival created the Festival Village just across the road to appease those without tickets to the main event. Last year, Iggy Azalea, Neon Trees, The Pretty Reckless and Lil' Jon all performed there on Saturday afternoon. And if you just can't make it to the city of sin, then the entire festival is broadcast live across radio and TV, to ensure you don't miss out.
