Ever heard of a famous Belgian? Yes, we have, in fact, including Jean Claude Van Damme and Tintin. We've heard of Jazz Middelheim too, because it's a jazzy (yes) little festival in Antwerp.
At the height of summer, this VIP extravaganza welcomes some of the best in contemporary jazz as well as a few of your traditional favourites. Mmm, jazz.
Antwerp is the best place to enjoy the world famous Belgian waffles. Here they are sold by roadside vendors and in most restaurants, bars and pubs. Topped with generous heaps of freshly whipped cream and fruit, they're lush.
