The basics
Probably the biggest concert that Jersey sees each year. Turn it into a festival outing if you fancy a weekend Channel break.
The festival
Jersey might be a small island in the Channel but it also has its own festival, Jersey Live, which takes place over a weekend in August. The line up is a mix of the latest pop, rock and indie with everyone from X-Factor contestants to established pop acts and full-on noise, like the Klaxons.
You can’t camp at the festival site but there are campsites near by if you can’t live without the tent experience, or plenty of B&Bs if a bed is more your thing. Hospitality tickets (ie VIP) allow you access to a Champagne tent, with a free flute on arrival, VIP bars, raised viewing platforms, posh toilets and food vouchers. If you’re coming over from the mainland, then there are various coach and ferry packages which include your ticket and accommodation.
Our tip
Book into a B&B and take advantage of a Full English breakfast. The perfect way to start day two of a festival.
