The festival
It's a well-known fact that everyone likes mints. Everyone. Except Jedward. They find them confusing. Mints are refreshing and tasty and can hide that bit of garlic you ate before your first date when you were twenty-nine. What?
Anyway, Mint festival is a breath of fresh air (sorry), featuring some of the best names in dance and electronic music. It's back in Leeds, for good, and it's a hell of a lot of fun. With arenas including the Blasé Boys Club, Good Greef and Knee Deep in Sound, it couldn't be anything other. The only thing that could possibly be better is a bath filled to the brim with hundreds of Kendal Mint Cakes. But that really would be spoiling you.
Our tip
There is a convenient shuttle bus to and from the festival at Wetherby Racecourse. We recommend getting it rather than stealing a horse and trying to trot down the motorway.

How do I get there?
By car: If you are travelling by car remember you will need to purchase a parking pass along with your ticket. The festival is just off the A1(M).
By bus: The festival put on special shuttle bus services to and from the racecourse.
By horse: It is on a racecourse so you won't look too out of place if you turn up on your trusty steed.
