"Let's convert a whole airport into a festival," said somebody once, and then Open'er happened and (sort of) did just that. It's not in an airport, but it is the size of one. Lots of genres, lots of big names and lots of space – this is partying, Poland style.
With a knack for bagging big stars, Open'er is a force to be reckoned with in the lineup stakes. But it's not all megastars, there's also a good showing from the underground.
But it's not only music, they've also got a cinema, a silent disco, the chance to meet famous Polish writers and even cabaret shows.
It's been going since 2002 too, so they've honed it all down and they know what they're doing. Which is always a good thing to know.
Drink lots of beer. Polish beer is the best.
