Manchester welcomes the world’s best DJs and bands to Heaton Park. Park it up.
From small beginnings at Platt Fields park near central Manchester in 2010 to a much (much) grander spot at Heaton Park, the Parklife behemoth is fast taking over everyone's summer plans in the North West. For one weekend the suburb of Prestwich is flooded by all the top DJs, all the celebrating uni students and a bunch of pretty disgruntled residents.
Anyway, who cares about the people whose lives are being disrupted (actually we care a bit, sorry!) this one is not to be missed, so stick on your comfiest dancing shoes, grab a waterproof mac and head to Manchester.
For gourmet food stalls, luxury loos and exclusive spaces and better stage views, grab a VIP ticket.
Under 16s are no longer allowed so I'm afraid if your sexual activity is not yet legal, you ain't coming in.
