The festival
Festivals are always just that little bit better when they're in nice surroundings aren't they? Not just a muddy field in the middle of nowhere or some sand-coated concrete square smack-bang in the centre of a city, but something a little more picturesque. Well, with Port Eliot festival, you've got just that.
Situated in Cornwall in the beautiful grounds of the Grade 1 listed Port Eliot house, it's a festival with a difference. Not too much of a difference though - you can still drink beer and dance to music, it's just that you might want to do some other stuff too. Like visit a flower show for example, or have some clothes designed for you by a top designer then given to you for NADA.
If you like your festivals a little on the chilled-out/quirky side, then you'll find much to enjoy at Port Eliot.

How do I get there?
By Train: Some First Great Western Trains stop at St Germans Station. There are also connections from Plymouth Station.

From St Germans station, follow the signs to the PEDESTRIAN GATE.
This walk should take approximately three minutes.
By Car: From the A38, take the B3249, which is signposted St Germans.
The main gate for the festival will be signposted and FREE parking is available.
If you are using sat nav or a web map, the nearest postcode for the main gate is PL12 5BQ.
By Bus: A bus service runs from Plymouth to St Germans (route 572/3).
