This festival in Montenegro teams up with Exit for a summer of dance, sun, forts and beaches. Yeah.
The festival
In 2001, we were at school talking to our mates about how the world was nothing like in the film 2001:A Space Odyssey, in addition to getting laid. ALL. THE. TIME. Well, the first bit was true. That's when Serbia's wonderful Exit festival began. Now in its fifteenth year, the rebellious teenager of festivals is celebrating by partnering up with UKF and TheSoundYouNeed to present Sea Dance, a big ass dance and electro party on Jaz beach in Montenegro. Festival goers travelling around the region will have the opportunity to rest their little heads as they travel between two of Europe's hottest festivals; and with the sun blazing and the beats a bangin' we think that's probably a good idea.
Ok, if you must party on the bus, go ahead, but don't say we didn't warn you. Is that a beer in your hand? Go on then.
Our tip
If you can, try and combine your visit with Exit festival in Serbia (like we already said – LISTEN WILL YOU?). Although it's only fifteen years old, Exit is renowned as one of the best festivals out there, and we're inclined to agree.

Getting there
How do I get there?
By air: The closest airports to Sea Dance (Jaz Beach, Budva, Montenegro) are the Tivat and Podgorica airports, Montenegro (Tivat is about 45 minutes and Podgorica is about 1.5 hours to Jaz beach). The next best solution is the Dubrovnik airport in Croatia, which is covered with many low cost companies. Other airports you can use are Split and Zadar (Croatia).
By shuttle: From surrounding airports you can get an official Sea Dance coach to Jaz beach. The bus takes 45 minutes from Tivat; 1.5 hours from Podgorica and it takes 2-2.5 hours from Dubrovnik, Croatia. Shuttle services are also organized for other airports. Prices start at 9.99 EUR. Getting to Sea Dance from EXIT: They recommend getting an EXIT coach directly from Novi Sad to Budva, Montenegro. Also, you can book direct flights from Belgrade (Serbia) to Tivat or Podgorica airports in Montenegro. Prices start from 55 EUR.
