The basics

Chart-friendly acts headline this Norfolk festival, where the fans large it up while the summer winds down.

The festival

The British summer isn’t exactly reliable, but you can guarantee the good times keep rolling until the end by pitching up at Norwich’s Sundown festival on the last weekend of August.

With many of the artists being radio-friendly crowd-pleasers, there shouldn’t be too much difficult getting the party started, particularly when the 2014 lineup included Ellie Goulding, Tinie Tempah and Chase & Status, while Pusha T provided a bit of edge.

And it was a good place to check out potential stars of tomorrow, like Katy Perry-approved Foxes, Rudimental collaborator Ella Eyre and Breach (AKA Ben Westbeech).

Our tip

Posh loo gurus VIPees will be at Sundown, so you can wee like royalty instead of mixing it with the hoi polloi. How very civilised.
