The festival
The giant Commerzbank Arena in Frankfurt is transformed into an absolutely HAYOOJ super-club for three nights in June. Expect massive headliners, swarms of ravers and one of the best clubbing experiences available on the planet.
And if the weather's nice, then don't worry, the retractable roof opens and lets the rays shine on down. The same goes for if it's raining - they'll just pop the roof back on and you're back in a club. Either way, it seamlessly combines the open-air festival experience with the closed-air (?) clubbing vibe.
Another reason for this is that you can nip outside and bask in the sunlight on the grass surrounding the arena.
Whether you love the sun or the rain (sun), you'll have an unbelievable time at WCD.
Our tip
You can smoke inside the arena but don't bother taking your fags into the crowd - nobody likes getting one in the eye. TRUST US.

Getting there
How do I get there?
CAR
Three public car parks are available: the Waldparkplatz, the car park at the Gleisdreieck and the car park on the Isenburger Schneise. All these car parks make a charge of EUR 5 per vehicle. The car parks are signposted on the traffic routing.
AIR
From Frankfurt Rhine-Main Airport
Suburban railway
Railway station Terminal 1 below the Arrivals Area:
S8 in the Hanau direction ; leave train at “Stadion” station.
S9 to Offenbach Ost; leave train at “Stadion” station.
The journey to the Arena (“Stadion” station) takes about 3 minutes (one stop).
TAXI
You can reach the stadium in 10 minutes by taxi for only about € 12.
