The basics

More of a gentle festival experience than an all night rave, Wychwood is perfect for those with kids.

The festival

Wychwood Festival prides itself on being a festival for families. It’s homely, laid back and there’s plenty to keep little ones amused with over 100 activities from a Roald Dahl museum and a kids’ literature tent to circus skills workshops.

But it’s not just for kids, for adults there are also plenty of workshops, more Real Ale than you could down in a weekend and music for a range of generations.

Camping is easy as you’re allowed to drive up next to your pitch, or you can get it all pre-done and have it all waiting for you as you rock up. Yurts and bell tents are also available for a special festival experience.

Our tip

If you do want a late night, then the Silent Disco is the place to be, going ‘til 3am but all in your head.
