FESTIVAL OF NEIGHBOURHOOD Southbank Centre until 28 September
The Centre is set to stage another typically arcane event which will see the Southbank transformed into a community, complete with fruit trees, a local watering hole and allotments. It has the didactic purpose of exploring what it means to live side by side in a dense city, while also serving up fresh fruit and veg and hot pies from pop-up stalls.

VISIONS OF THE UNIVERSE, ROYAL MUSEUMS GREENWICH, 7 JUNE - 15 SEPTEMBER Make like the modern father of science at this cosmic photography exhibition.Take a visual intergalactic tour through the solar system, with images of the sun, moon and deep space. Visions of the Universe also boasts the latest images captured from NASA and the Russian space agency. Over 100 beautiful images of space aim to give a first-person look through a telescope, just as Galileo did over 400 years ago.

PINTA LONDON 4 - 7 June PINTA London returns to its West London bolthole for a fourth year, showcasing the finest modern and contemporary Latin American, Spanish and Portuguese art. Highlights for this year include celebrated Argentine painter and sculptor César Paternosto, PINTA projects looking at young Latin American artists in Europe, and PINTA Design. More than 50 galleries from around the world will exhibit their work to demonstrate how art has had an undeniable influence on Latin American identity.
