The basics
Lovely, hippie Brighton is transformed for one day into a right old rave-up in a field.
The festival
If you like electronic music, then you'll like Shakedown. Why? BECAUSE THERE'S A LOT OF ELECTRONIC MUSIC THERE, THAT'S WHY.
With tents from Hospitality, Defected and more, this is for the bass-heads - you won't find a banjo in sight.
Also, it's a one-day festival, so there's no need to pack. And talking of packing, they certainly pack a right old slab of acts into a single-dayer – this is bang for your buck.
Our tip
Vuvezelas are banned from the site, so don't bring any with you, you absolute twat.
