The basics

Head down to the docks to scouse it up to some quality music.

The festival

Sound City's been nominated for best metropolitan festival at the UK Festival Awards five years in a row, so you know they know what they're doing, you know? No? Not no, bro. YES.

With acts stretching out across the whole musical spectrum – you've got your rock, your pop, your indie, your dance, your electronica, and whatever else you're into that nobody's heard of you cool bastard.

All this in a big dock which doesn't close until 3am.

Our tip

Liverpool's a great city. Do a bit of exploring you plebian.

Getting there

How do I get there?

By train: If you’re traveling to Liverpool by train we’d advise heading to Liverpool Lime Street Station. It’s located in the heart of the City Centre and has direct routes from London, Manchester, Leeds and all major cities. From here the festival hub is just a short taxi ride or about a 20-minute walk away. Taxis are available 24 hours a day from the taxi rank located in the station.

Short train journeys from Liverpool Central station to Sandhills Station are also available regularly. Sandhills station is a 5 minute walk from the festival hub.

By bus: We are offering a bus service which will take Sound Citizens from Liverpool Limestreet to the Sound City Site... Tickets for the bus service are availble HERE

By car: If you are travelling to the festival by car then we suggest parking your car in one of the Q-Park facilities in Liverpool City Centre.
