The basics
A boutique festival set up in a previous holiday camp in Bodrum, Turkey. Fun in the sun doesn’t come much better.
The festival
Turkey’s getting in on the boutique festival act with Sunsplash, based in beautiful Bodrum, on the beach. Having been in Antalya for the last five years, it’s now relocated and its new home of Aspat Bay is backed by stunning hillsides, comes with its own old ruins, has a sparkling blue sea waiting for you and comes with a pretty cool line up of dance and electronic artists from Turkey, the UK and the rest of Europe. There’s also a load of workshops covering wellness, music production, graffiti - some even based in an old Byzantine bathhouse.
The site has its own selection of beach bungalows or you can stay off site in a selection of hotels. Lounge around on day beds, swim and sunbathe during the day then as the sun goes down hit the beach bar and different stages to dance all night.
Our tip
Try your hand at some watersports whilst you’re there, just do it before you hit the bar.
