The basics
Traditional rock, blues, metal and everything in between (except disco) in southern Sweden.
The festival
Do you like to rock? What? You don't? Then why did you click on a page called Sweden Rock Festival?
Right, those of you who know how to use a mouse properly, listen up, because Sweden Rock is coming to town. Or, more accurately, you're coming to them. They are really nice people and would bring the festival to you if they could, but that would involve really high transport costs. Since its inception in the early '90s, the festival has steadily become more and more of a hard rock festival, though it retains a family friendly feel.
With five stages designed to give acts enough time to do a decent set and 200 people constantly on hand to keep the site clean, its a great place to go if you want to make your ears bleed (in a good way) without going overboard.
Our tip
The clean grass slopes make a perfect vantage point for relaxing whilst watching the music. Get your picnic blanket out!
