The basics
Edgy mix of experimental jazz and avant-garde electronic music in a post-industrial Polish setting.
The festival
Located on the site of a closed down coal mine, Nowa Muzyka (or ‘new music’ in English) has become a mecca for contemporary music lovers.
The festival exists to showcase the most interesting new artists on the jazz, electronic and dance scenes. It attracts performers from across the world and, for many, it is the first time they perform on Polish shores.
