The self-proclaimed most luxurious hotel in the world – aka Dubai’s seven-star Burj Al Arab – has just introduced iPads for its guests…made of 24-carat GOLD.
In a city as superlative as it is hot, the launch makes the Burj the first hotel – of course – to offer the 24-carat gold iPads for customer use.
And it’s not just a pretty face: guests can use the iPads, worth more than £6,000 each, as a “virtual concierge” – although that’s about it. And sadly you have to give it back when you check out.
Of course, there’s a gold iPhone, a gold iPad mini and a gold Blackberry Q10 too. Dig deep if you fancy a stay here…
