The newest hotel to land in Dubai this week is the Oberoi, Dubai, the latest launch from the eponymous luxury hotel chain.
The Oberoi Dubai is the group's first launch in the United Arab Emirates, and overlooks the Burj Khalifa, the largest man-made totem pole that towers over the Arab city.
Naturally, its Dubai location dictates that the hotel is super-luxe in most ways – it boasts floor to ceiling windows, a 24-hour butler and an array of restaurants, and labels itself a "contemporary luxury" residence.
It's yet another hotel in the Gulf city to choose from, but you'll have to dig deep to stay here.
