The festival
You still don’t see that many festivals on the beach - that’s where Hangout Festival comes in. 70 bands, a perfect shoreline, hammocks and a cool breeze. Set on the Gulf in Alabama, Hangout has a few different stages mostly hosting rock, indie and hip-hop artists but under the blissful sunshine.
Keep cool with the festival’s own waterslide, play some volleyball or just sunbathe to the sounds of the stages.There’s no camping on site, but there are plenty of condos and hotels nearby and you can add on a shuttle service to your ticket price for not much more. And like all good parties, there’s also a rockin’ pre-party on the Thursday night which you can add on as well. Turn up, tune in and drop out, dude.

How do I get there?
The Hangout Music Fest is located at 101 E Beach Blvd in Gulf Shores, Alabama
Travelling by Car: Driving to the Hangout Music Fest is easy from cities across the southeast and mid-west. Atlanta, Chattanooga, Memphis, Athens, Asheville, Tampa Bay, Gainesville, Nashville and Houston are all just a short day's drive away. And if you live in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Birmingham, Montgomery or Jackson, you can be here in a few hours.
Once you hop off I-65, I-10 or Highway 98, the Gulf Shores Parkway and Beach Express make it easy cruise straight down to the beach and the Hangout Music Fest.
Travelling by Plane: Most major airlines fly into nearby Mobile and Pensacola airports. Both airports are about an hour's drive from the Hangout Music Fest, so once you land you'll want to rent a car.
