Sonar Sound heads to Chile, spreading its dancey vibes throughout South America
The festival
Since its not so humble beginnings in Barcelona, Sonar has spread out like an armada of music, only with more melody and fewer canons. While Chile mightn't be your typical festival location, if you do happen to find yourself in that part of the world this December, you'd be a fool not to at least stop in for some hardcore dance and/or electronica.
With world famous DJs on the bill (or roster, for you Americans), Sonar Sound Santiago has a lot more than alliteration going for it. IT HAS EVERYTHING*
*At least in terms of bands and deejays.
Our tip
Never shorten Sonar Sound to SS when texting your mates, or the rozzers will think you're up to some proper dodge right-wing antics and storm the hell out of your yard.

Public Transport
From Plaza Italia : Take bus 401, 406, 407, 412, 418, 427 or 426, get off at Exhibition and walk towards Salvador Sanfuentes (one block from the Alameda) and take bus 109 to "the Former Airport Cerrillos ". From Central Station : Walk Exhibition Street and continue towards Salvador Sanfuentes (one block from the Alameda) and take bus 109 to "Ex Cerrillos airport." From Currency : Walk to Nataniel Cox Tarapaca and take bus 113 to "Ex Cerrillos airport." From Las Rejas : In North Las Rejas, bus 102 or 107 to "the Cerrillos airport Ex" (arrival at corner of Switzerland Way to Melipilla) From Quinta Normal : In Matucana, bus 109 to "Ex Cerrillos airport." From O'Higgins Park : In San Ignacio de Loyola Ñuble, buses 113 or 115 to "Ex Cerrillos airport"

From Central Station L1 , bus 109 Exhibition Street until "Ex Airport Cerrillos ". Since L1 Currency Station , bus 113 in street Nataniel Cox to "Ex Cerrillos airport". Since L1 Las Rejas station , bus 102 or 107 in North Las Rejas until "Ex Cerrillos airport." From station Quinta Normal L5 , Matucana 108 bus to "Ex Cerrillos airport." Since Rondizonni L2 station , bus 113 or 115 in San Ignacio de Loyola Ñuble to "Ex Cerrillos airport."
