Souzou: Outsider art from Japan, The Wellcome Collection
Souzou (loosely meaning creation or imagination in Japanese) presents a diverse exhibition including ceramics, textiles, paintings and sculptures of Japanese outsider art in the UK. More than 300 works and 46 artists are showcased in this major display at the Wellcome Collection.
Sebastiao Salgado: Genesis, Natural History Museum
Brazilian photojournalist Sebastio Salgado showcases his work in an epic exhibition at the Natural History Museum. Called Genesis, the exhibition takes us on a journey from Brazil to Siberia to Argentina. Expect extraodinrary images of landscapes, communities and landscapes by one of the world’s best-known photojournalists and social documenters.
LUXE city guides
Just in time for summer, LUXE has launched its white travel set, giving discerning travellers a choice of three bespoke travel guides to both short- and long-haul destinations. The European eight-book set is out later this month, with guides to Madrid, London, Paris, Rome, Berlin, Barcelona, Istanbul and Florence. They're really snazzy, but don't go expecting any Lonely Planet-type fold-out maps – they're too classy for that.
